Getting started with PeakCorteX

PeakCorteX has a project-based approach. All your to-dos, routines and time-boxing sessions are embedded in projects.

  • First, create your projects. Your projects may be your work, your training, nutrition, hobbies or more specific like a subject from University or in our case, writing user guides for PeakCorteX.
    -> Project Manager

  • Add your to-dos and recurring routines to each of your projects. In this view you will do most of your actions. You can filter, sort and rearrange your to-dos, make detailed morning routines or highly customized training plans. This control view is the heart of PeakCorteX.
    -> Action Control

  • Work efficiently on projects using timers (e.g. Pomodoro-Technique). You can schedule yourself the projects you want to work on today and choose between two working modes:
    -> Deep Focus: (Turn on flight mode, turn off distractions)
    -> Flexible Focus: (stay connected while working)
    For extra motivation, you can earn awards.
    -> Time-Boxing

  • To review how much you worked on a project, how long your routine streaks are, and for statistics about your to-dos go to reports view. Here you can have an overview about the time you've been in deep focus, the amount of awards you gained and much more.
    -> Reports

  • Choose your favorite color theme and customize the defaults. Here you can also find much more like the night owl mode, a special feature to change the time on which a day ends.
    This is for those who are working late hours as we are.
    -> Settings

  • This is the view where you are reading the introduction right now. Here you’re going to have more detailed descriptions, use cases and video tutorials. (Coming soon)
    -> User Guides

There are a lot of things which must be taken care of to achieve a healthy and fulfilling life.

  • Besides the projects you will be working with, you can find the most essential activities to improve your mental and physical well-being in this daily action-list.
    -> Self-Care Journal
